    Hi,

I am searching for a very specific watch that has a sentimental connection for
me and I am hoping that somebody on here might be able to help me.

The watch I am looking for is the Limited Edition "Spitfire" Pilot's watch.
The sentimental element is that a dear friend of mine who passed away a few
years ago owned one and now that I am in a position to buy one I would like to
    have the same model.

Unfortunately I just missed one example that I found through Chrono 24
recently. Is there anywhere else that you would suggest that I look or do I
just have to wait and be quicker next time? There are currently two examples
on Chrono 24 in the States but both without box and papers and not in such
good condition as far as I can tell.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear of your friend's passing.

You can try to google the reference number and it will usually come up with
some pre-owned sales listings. You can also check the various watch forums
which will also have their own classifieds sub-forums.

    Good luck with your search.

    Thank you!

I have searched by the reference number but have only found a couple available
which seem to be the same as on Chrono24. I will keep searching in the forums.

No commercial messages are dealt with on the forum.

That is a rule accepted by the members.

    Hi,

I'm sorry. To be honest I didn't realise that there was such a rule.

However, I don't think that this is a commercial message? I am an individual
asking for some help in locating a watch that I would like to find. I thought
that the forum, with lots of knowledgeable members, would be a good place to
ask. Please accept my apologies if I was wrong.

My guess is that you are looking for ref. 325305. Try an internet search for
    "IWC 325305".

    Thank you!

I have tried searching by the reference number (I believe it is IW3253005) but
all the results are for watches that are already sold.

    I will keep searching :-)
