Hello everyone,
This is my first post; I am new to the IWC world and in need of some assistance. I inherited an IWC pocket watch from my late grandfather. It is an open face .925 silver IWC pocket watch with seconds. It was not running and I had no idea of the service history (my grandfather lived in Norway and passed in 1985). I sent it off to an independent repair shop here in the States which I have used in the past and have great confidence in. The shop contacted me today and said that a part called "detent" was broken and needed to be replaced. They said they would try and locate it but was doubtful it could be found.
Can anyone assist with where/how I may be able to find this part? Thanks in advance for any assistance on this as the pocket watch means a great deal to me.
