    Hello. I have a 1960s IWC dress watch (cal. 8531) 18k, would IWC accept to
    service it/overhaul it? If so, would the case get polished as part of the
    service? Would appreciate anyone with relevant experience or knowledge to
    share.

    IWC will certainly service and overhaul it to the highest order.

    Whether the case gets polished or not is your decision and is at no additional
    cost to the service.

    Once serviced and polished, the Watch will be as good as new and good for
    another 50 years.
