in the Bond Street London boutique recently to send a spitfire Chrono for
service I was talking watches with one of the guys there and mentioned my
interest in IW 3805, the ingenieur meca quartz alarm Chrono. This is one of
those with meca quartz movement by Jaeger le Coultre. He said that as of
recently neither IWC (nor JLC for that matter) could service this model or any
other with meca quartz movement any more. Do we know if this is correct, and
In that case, does anyone know where such a watch should be sent for service?
(I'm aware of course that service intervals are longer for such watches)
