I have a doubt about sending my 79350 (Portuguese chronograph) for serviced to
the assistance center in Italy. If I decide to buy a watch made in
Switzerland, why should I have it disassembled and reassembled, set by a
laboratory that is not the Swiss of the parent company (in the Schaffhausen
manufactory)?

If the Italian service center is an authorised IWC service center, why not ?
The people there are trained in Schaffhausen.
I am born in Belgium, why wouldn't I allow a certified doctor to do an
operation in the States ?
If for some reason in Italy they think service or repair is too compilcated,
they will send it to Schaffhausen anyway. But for a regular service, no
problem.
Thank you TB. Yes, I mean an authorized IWC center. It is important to know
that people are trained on the Sciaffusa, considering that the caliber is
completely reassembled and set. It's not like a car maintenance where you
change oil and filters. It would be like saying Made in Switzerland and
assembled in Italy. Not because Italians aren't good (I'm Italian).

It's a simple 7750 movement, every watch smith can service this movement. I'm
just a hobby watch smith and service a 7750 by myself.
