Greetings to everyone,
Since I'm new to this forum and this is my first post, I'd like you to start with celebrating with me the 100-th anniversary of my inherited IWC Savonnette.
The watch needs a new glass and some minor maintenance work, still it is functional at the time we speak. I wonder if there is a chance to do this in my country (Romania), meaning if there is a trustworthy, authorized service center around here or will I have to send it (oh no!) in a different country.
I have to admit that it really takes some time to get accustomed with the IWC forum style, especially if one is used to browse the "classic internet forums" (and therefore hints and tips from the "forum oldies" would be gladly appreciated!).
I'm looking forward to getting a lot of useful and interesting info around here. Until then, here's the birthday boy:
