    Hi everyone,

I've looking with a local retired watchmaker, who still dabbles here and
there, at an IWC he had from an estate sale. He thought it was circa 1980s but
didn't have a lot of information, other than he's serviced the watch, it all
seems to check out, and I believe from talking to others about his work he
    seems quite above board.

However, I've never owned an IWC before, and whilst I quite like the design,
size etc. I'm not sure whether it's real, what model, etc

I've attached a couple of photos, none with the watch disassembled (the offer
was made but I didn't want to impose too much). Anyway he's holding it for me
and I thought I'd do some asking first...

It's showing a bit of age and rough wear, but as I've been almost exclusively
Japanese houses, I'm in new territory

Any ideas and thoughts would be appreciated :)

case

    Thanks.

Thankyou, I shall. Something didn't feel right, so I'm glad I held off.

    Cheers.
