I have an untiring love for titanium. The material best adapted to so many functions, for me mostly in bicycles and watches. So here are my Ti IWCs, and my wife's:

Yes, I agree, very nice watches. A titanium version should be there for every serious sports watch, maybe combined with ceramic. IWC starts with this tradition again with a new titanium Ingenieur Doppel. But a titanium Aquatimer 2000 and a titanium Ingenieur Automatic would be great. I still hope for a titanium Ingenieur Chrono with the 89360 movement: it would be a killer!

Titanium is great stuff indeed! Here is a pic of my Ti Aquatimer:

Once the new wheels for my son's bike are ready, I will put the ultra-light Ti quick-releases in and save some weight there.

I have a soft-spot for Ti as well, especially with IWC, which manages to execute so well...

whenever I am presented with a Ti and a SS version of the same watch, I will always give in and take the Ti.
