That's just great, Alan! It seems it is arriving a little sooner than expected! I can't wait to see the photos!

    Ah...

I saw Argiris' post after I hit "send." I stand corrected! You can tell my knowledge of football terminology is somewhat limited to the U.S. variety.

    Best regards,

Sounds more to me like an "own goal"....

But unlike when this normally happens, as you can see Alan both the home team as well as all the spectators are thrilled !

As always with special things in life, I am sure it was worth the wait.

Cannot wait to see some photos.

    Best regards
    Mark

I was just thinking of that watch too ...

... because I saw it yesterday in TV on the wrists of our German players and coach.

It's really an amazing watch I'd like to have too. Congratulations on your choice and please send some pictures when it's there at your field.

It appears that very few of these are coming to...

the US and I am told that mine is the first one to actually arrive. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea, but I just love both the design of the dial and the matching strap.I wanted it from the moment MF first posted the pictures last year.
I should receive it on Monday.

And "Tor" has some other meaning too...

I connect that meaning to football often, as well as to the victims of a mysterious disease, caused by the "Uhren Virus". Tor also means fool.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese: I felt no fool buying this particular watch

I think it is a great watch

Sometimes the Limited Editions look better than the regular ones. As with the CFDV I think the DFB Ingenieur Chrono is a wonderful watch.

Yes, right. "TOR" has three meanings . . .

    1. a gate
    2. a goal in a game of soccer (not as target, destination or aim
    3. a fool (like: "You poor sap!")

Alan, you've wait since SIHH and now it's a SCORE!

Congrats on landing one. Very special with the 89360 movement. A very distinctive timepiece. I'm sure you'll love it. So you get a salute from the 1st Gen DFB. I hope to see yours one day.

    Best,
    Larry
