Dropped by the LA Boutique a few days ago. A small shop but certainly a big selection...

    Lots of Perpetuals:

    Including this gorgeous Blue Beauty:
    i1164.photobucket.com/albums/q562/teeveetee9/photo31.jpg

C'mon Shing... the tourbillon version of the regulateur is calling you:

A Red Gold Big Ingenieur I'd never seen before:

    Of course lots of Pilots:

And yes, you've seen correctly... an ALI AND DFB sighting in the store (the later of which is apparently the 'only one' this side of the States).

    Had to try it on.

Looks fantastic, congrats to you guys who have acquired this beauty (Alan, Arne, SC, Shing, Terry, Felix, Kollnik, Kevin and Nad?).

Really like it (but still holding out for his older japanese cousin...)

On a related note, noticed a new IWC boutique is opening at the South Coast Plaza Mall down in Orange County.

Thang, great photos, looked like you enjoyed your visit. I may take my DFB off tomorrow and finally wear something else for the day. LOL

If you are serious about the tribute to Japan BP email me as I saw one for sale on line last week.

    Regards,
    Kevin

Great stuff Thang, thanks for sharing. This boutique certainly is loaded with the good stuff - both the perpetuals and the pilot special editions.

Will have to pass on the tourbillon regulateur I am afraid !

I hope you all noticed Shing didn't say he could pass on that BLUE dial PPC!
You know you want it Shing, I know I sure do. LOL?

    Enjoy your weekend.

Hmmm, I might be seeing that one in a day or two as I am in LA now.

@Kevin, you and Alan schemed something up there? Three days ago he used that same expresssion " you know you want it" with my name in the line, and now I own that watch :-) Looks like Shing will now need to yake the plunge!

@Shing, what a dilema right? 5021-21 or 5032-03....you know the answer to that one! Just need to be careful that Alan does not suscumb to another moment of blue passion on seeing that blue dialed beauty in LA and pulls the trigger on the last 5021-21 available out there in the wild. lOL

In addition to South Coast Plaza (now that the cat's out of that bag), I understand that the Beverly Hills boutique will be moving nearby to a larger location.

Thang ! you are right the boutique may be small but it seems to have a very fine collection. Great one stop shop for an IWC fan.

The South Coast Plaza boutique is excellent news, indeed! Now I have reason to look forward to going to South Coast with the wife and kids with the IWC boutique opening along with a sister Richemont brand opening a boutique as well; I'll probably be the one suggesting trips to the mall now. :)

    SoCalJD,

See you on opening day !! BTW, when you leave and go out to your car, if the key fob doesn't open the doors, it may be my TL.

Although it is over 1200 miles away from my location, the Beverly Hills Boutique has become my AD. I hope you got a chance to meet my friend Hoa Huynh...the whole staff is top notch! Thanks for sharing your visit with us Thang!

Haha, that would be great if we ended up bumping into each other there, Andy! This really is great news because while the drive from South OC up to LA/Beverly Hills doesn't seem that bad on paper, in practice, it's a pretty miserable drive, at least for me, so I don't go up all that often unless I'm purchasing something from my go-to authorized dealer in LA.
