    Congrats! &for others to get the "der Uhr" joke...

    "Uhr" --watch-- is a feminine noun in German. "der" is the masculine form of "the" ("die" and "das" are the feminine and neuter gender forms of "the"). Therefore it correctly should be "die Uhr" --the watch.

    IWC's Ad uses the incorrect "der Uhr" --to make this the masculine form of watch. Clever, and end of my German lesson.

    And, Perlmutt, congratulations. It's a great watch.
