So, what to do on a boring Sunday morning? I borrowed the Slimy from my son and made a few pictures of it :-)
Kind regards,
Clemens

Did you notice that this is the ''Swiss Formula'' Slimy? Very appropriate!

This last one is my favorite!

Scary!
Gee, I didn't know about this product, I first thought you helped your watch to commit suïcide. It doesn't creep into the smallest of holes and crevices? Can you use it to clean the watches? It really looks like fun!
Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch
I use a variant of this product to clean off the..
keyboard on my computer. It gets into all the crevices and picks up dust and other debris.
I have not tried it on my watches. But it should work.
And nothing of the stuff stays behind?
I am not quite sure if that would be a bad thing, it might stop dust and water getting in, if at all possible. My only worry would be that it would get into the inside of the watch, where it of course would disrupt and even damage the watch.
Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch (does anybody check whether I change watches during the day?)
No, it is like a gooey gel that stays together...
I have not seen any break off. But even if it did you could just put a another blob on and it would absorb it.
Good Lord! Until I saw the posts in response to
yours, I wasn't sure whether you drank that stuff, played with it, put it in your car's gas tank, or used it as a tennis ball. Cleaning with it was the last thing on my mind!
Glad to hear.
I was just playing with it...
It's true that it works great to collect dust too but then it quickly becomes one dirty mess.
It doesn't enter in the watch, not even in the bracelets and it's easy to remove. I did pick the Ingenieur since it has enough water resistance and I won't risk ruining a leather or croco strap either.
Kind regards,
Clemens
PS: this was my first test of posting multiple images with captions and it works like a charm
Well, it looks great, nice stuff (nt)
Ha ha ha, cool!!! nt
nt
Stick with the "Snow Shots", Cing!!!..LOL!!!..(nt)
You know what they say..
Don't eat the yellow snow!
Kind regards,
Clemens
Cool, didn't know that stuff still exists! nt
I don't have the nerve...
...to even think of trying it! Haha.
I'll stick to H2O and a soft toothbrush :)
Cheers,
Evan
It's an Ingenieur :-)
I wouldn't try this with any other watch in my collection, not even the Aquatimer because I am not sure the Slimy wouldn't enter in the Split Minute button.
The Ingenieur however is as robust as watches can get so a bit of this slippery stuff doesn't harm it.
Kind regards,
Clemens
LOL! You definitely like to PLAY with your Ingy!
