Hello all,
After my previous post, here is another one with some watch-related pictures. Since IWC has posted some daring pictures of Marilyn Monroe, I think that my swimming pool shot will survive the moderation (at least I hope). You are warned, if you don't want to see me in my swimming pants, stop reading now!
On thursday the 23th, we want to St Gilles Croix de Vie and had a nice dinner in "La Belle Vie". The restaurant is listed as a creperie, but they had other things too and I started with a few oisters:
After the oisters, I had a nice "Brochette de boeuf" with pepper sauce and as a desert I had a "Coupe Colonel" (lemon sorbet with Vodka).
After dinner we had a long walk along the marina, unfortunately it was too dark for pictures.
Other than going out, there was a lot of time to relax too, this one was taken after a late breakfast, enjoying a coffee in the garden:
On Saturday the 25th, there should be fireworks at St Gilles Crois de Vie but due to too much wind, this was cancelled. Too bad, I had brought my camera, tripod and St Ex (because of the excellent lume). Here is just a picture of the St Ex (not taken that day).
Since we brought our bikes for the holidays, I was able to go to the "boulanger" (bakery) every morning for some freshly baked baguettes. The Ingenieur is the perfect watch for this, being the most shock resistant. I didn't want to use a chrono, I am on a holiday after all :-)
Wrist shots at the swimming pool after the ride:
I admit that I get some strange reactions sometimes when people see my biking shirt. It's from "Primal Wear" if you are interested, they have some other very interesting prints too! Andrew: the shirt I got from you is a tad small, I have to lose at least 8 pounds LOL.
After a bit of shopping, it was time to hit the swimming pool! So here is a wrist shot of my Aquatimer Split Minute:
And of course I had to take a few other shots:
One of the reasons that losing 8 pounds is taking some time: "Chausson aux Pommes" and a coffee:
And the Aquatimer near two palm trees:
I hope you liked the pictures and excuse me if the Aquatimer wrist shot has offended you :-)
Kind regards,
Clemens
