And then, there were 10...
U.S.A. - 3
Hong Kong - 2
Greece - 1
Portugal - 1
The Netherlands - 1
U.K. - 2
And here I cease this effort. The Law of Unintended Consequences has taken over, and this is no longer fun.

I have seen the Dutch one today!
It really is a great looking watch! If I wasn't saving for a Perpetual, I might have bought this one...
Kind regards,
Clemens
Agree, a very nice watch
In real life it looks much better than on any picture. It is superbly finished everywhere, and that dial is a winner over the regular one. It is very light too, and that bracelet is super practical: it should be on any watch that has a bracelet. I was grateful to see and try it at last.
Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch
You bet I won't! :) (nt)

And if it was'nt for Clemens...
I would not have been lying awake all night last night with a very clear Dilemma ! Like him I am draming of (and saving for) for a PPC - but just when I settled on the rose gold/black slate dial he argued strongly in favour of the IW502121 with blue dial!
Oh dear!
I don't want to be responsible for your sleeping problem! As Michael wrote a while ago, blue can be seen as a 'trendy' color. I have a few other reasons to like it:
- I really prefer the double moon, it gives the watch a more 'scientific' look,
- Ardoise is a stunning color but on the Perpetual, the hands are hard to see (for me at least),
- I don't see myself wearing a yellow, red or pink gold watch (yet),
- The Platinum Perpetual with double moonphase looks a bit pale,
- The white gold black dial Zegg & Cerlati Perpetual is great but there is one even more beautiful,
- The most beautiful (in my eyes) is the white gold, white dial Pisa Perpetual Portuguese.
Since there are only 20 Pisa Perpetuals (and 11 Zegg & Cerlati's) chances are slim to find one. I don't have the patience to search for a watch for a long time. If I have saved enough and I would happen to stumble upon a Pisa Perpetual, I would immediately go for that one. If that's unobtainable, a blue dial Perpetual will do just fine :-) Besides, blue is my favorite color!
Kind regards and I hope you sleep well tonight,
Clemens
Still tracking the CF da Vinci...
Just been called by Mappin & Webb in Terminal 5 at Heathrow........They have my watch :-) Collect it when I come back to the UK on the 18th......This is going to be a very long trip, can't wait.
If anyone is traveling through Terminal 5 in the next few days and wants to take a look, pop in and tell them I said it was OK ,-)
Good to hear...
...perhaps that means that mine is en-route to the U.S., and the others as well. And good for you!
Good to hear...
I have never looked forward to a flight so much, will post some pictures up over the weekend.
Still tracking the CF da Vinci...
