Last week my family with some friends spent hiking in Livigno-Bormio area in Italy. As St.Moritz was only an hour drive away we took a chance and visited it. Here are some photos...

Lovely trip report. First I see a GST on a lady and it looks splendid.
Well - some IWC are expensive and made me happy - but agreed hope it is not generic !

Thanks for the splendid travelogue and photos. I was in St. Moritz 4 years ago and found it to be a beautiful locale to spend some time. Your pics brought back some good memories!

Wonderful report and IWC review. Thanks for the post.

I tend to go to this part of the world in the opposite season. Here is St. Moritz in Winter looking up from the lake to the town as in one of your pictures. It's a different world in winter, but the watch shopping was just a good.

I was wearing my Inge 3227 when taking this shot, but alas no wrist shot. : (.

Beautiful pictures, quite relaxing atmosphere. Very appropriate watches too, titanium is great for such endeavours.

I rather be at St Moritz with an IWC than have an IWC St Moritz

I agree, certainly if I may choose the particular IWC. But the watch shown is quite a product of another era, from the "what shall we do next" point of view. I think it is quite special and audacious, I like that. It is not particularly pretty though, which gives it some charm. I cannot see me buy that for my wife ever, or her ever wanting it. But yes, it is special, thank you for showing.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
