Strap from an AMG black series on a Mission Earth, is it possible ?

Hi,
This is my 1st post here, and my 1st newbie question :)
I've sourced one NOS Mission Earth and bought it, I should get it within the next days but I'm a bit confused by the change strap system and the possibilities ( which seems limited ) with this watch..... I've read that the only solution to have another strap than the oem rubber ( or steel bracelet ) is a custom leather ... BUT ! I like the oem gator on rubber there is on the IW 322504 AMG Black series :)
Is there one recipe ? one modification to do to be able to adapt this strap on the Mission Earth ??
