    Hi Nelson,

you are a gentlemen of impeccable taste. What model is that ?

And what is the big watch in the background under the blue picture?

The Dopple is the ref. 371329 LE for Japan.  It was scheduled for 130 pieces to be made, but the numbers 4, 9, 42, 44 and 49 are considered unlucky numbers, so that left 125.  Of those, not all 125 were made according to an IWC insider. Produced in 1997.

The clock is a Sattler from Germany (no wonder you noticed it!)

    Hi Nelson,

the blue on the dial in that era was often used on the heavier variants of the white metal case material. Is that valid also here?

I don't know for sure, but this model is stainless steel.

It's really great! Never seen this before.

Reminds me of a dark blue panda with a big nose/mouth :-)

Beautiful, Nelson! I didn't realize the subdials were blue, I had always thought they were black. Of course, I've also never seen one of these rare birds in person.

I belive it's the only doppel with the script.
