Very well put together, Michael.
Great article Michael, thanks! I agree with all your points, particularly the careful wearing.
Nice to see our friend Andrew in his almost natural habitat ;-)
Kind regards,
Bob
Great article, interesting and useful.
I tend to wear a watch for a longer stretch of weeks nowadays, so winding the other watches regularly is a great tip. And wearing the watch carefully when walking around, washing my hands, has become a second nature, conscious and with pride. Finally, the wrist is the second safest place for a watch to be, apart from the watch box. I put my watch on and off either when sitting down or standing leant over my bed with cushion or quilt as the unfortunate landing place in case I drop the watch.
So, well done!
Kind regards,
Paul
Thanks Michael,
Nicely written and absolutely educating!

Thanks Michael - sound advice as always!
Great to see Andrew as well. :-)
Another invaluable contribution; always enjoyed and always appreciated Michael, thank you!
Thanx Michael - just wound up all my watches after reading :)
A good reminder how to treat our precious timepieces!
Thanks MF for another info share!
Good advice, Michael. Church's shoes used to advise buyers that two pairs last twice as long and three pairs last even longer. I would add that three or more IWCs are essential.
LOL, that must have been a sales man's advice ;-)
Legend!
Thank you Michael! Good read.
Your fellows suggestion to store watches: fully wound with unscrewed crown?
Thx
Best,
-Christian
Ah, the price we pay for the hobby we love. Great suggestions, although I can't say I regularly follow all these suggestions- I'll try to do better.

Thank you very much Michael, very interesting and for me always something to learn/improve!
Cheers Chris
Awesome article... thanks for the advise!
I liked the "ten tips"...good practical advice that was clearly delineated in a well-written article! Thank you, Michael!
Excellent common sense procedures. Thanks for the check-list.
Seems like I will be winding my watches tonight!
Thanks Michael!
