Great article Michael, thanks! I agree with all your points, particularly the careful wearing.

Nice to see our friend Andrew in his almost natural habitat ;-)

    Kind regards,

    Great article, interesting and useful.

I tend to wear a watch for a longer stretch of weeks nowadays, so winding the other watches regularly is a great tip. And wearing the watch carefully when walking around, washing my hands, has become a second nature, conscious and with pride. Finally, the wrist is the second safest place for a watch to be, apart from the watch box. I put my watch on and off either when sitting down or standing leant over my bed with cushion or quilt as the unfortunate landing place in case I drop the watch.

    So, well done!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Good advice, Michael. Church's shoes used to advise buyers that two pairs last twice as long and three pairs last even longer. I would add that three or more IWCs are essential.

Ah, the price we pay for the hobby we love. Great suggestions, although I can't say I regularly follow all these suggestions- I'll try to do better.
