Again, I'm two years behind and filling in pieces that I missed when they were first released.

This replaces the ceramic Carlson LE for me. Unlike the subtlety of the Carlson dial (it still looks great when Nad shoots it), this "white" white dial just pops! Of course, too bad, the Germans didn't win the World Championships that year (2008), but they did leave us with this wonderful tribute Doppel.

    Best,
    Larry

Nice. Thought about this too but will never let...

the Carlson out of my possession.

Hi Larry, What is the plus15 in the upper >

    sub-dial indicate? Thanks!

Looks like a very bold and different piece, but I am still not sold on this white dial phenomena of late.

    15 minutes of "extra time">

Just in case a crucial match is drawn after the second 45 minute half.

It more than "pops' - it absolutely shines!

..the combination of the white dial and the smaller black "islands" makes this a really appealing watch. Thanks for posting...

Easy to see why! The watch has

    great presence and eye appeal.

Enjoy it, Larry! And more photos when you get a chance, please!

And why should it! A great looking watch

and obviously special being an IWC Doppel. Just one little note Larry, the football tournament in 2008 was the European Championship. The World Cup was in Germany in 2006 and will be held next month in South Africa.
