    ... Not to own one!

Earlier this evening, that last thing on my mind was purchasing a new watch. Yet I happened to pass by a store that belongs to my favorite watch franchises, only to spot the face of my friend who sells me my IWCs. After exchanging some pleasantries he mentioned that they have received the first AT2000 in the country, and in no time he produced it in front of me.

    WOW!

I took off my Spitfire and tried the AT on. Simply an object of beauty, and the way it deliciously fits and balances on my wrist made me gasp that I MUST own this fine timepiece. Now I’m not usually the kind of person who would succumb to an impulsive purchase, yet honestly within a couple of minutes my plastic came out and ... Lets just say another IWC was adopted by a grateful IWC aficionado :-)

    wonderful purchase.

Congratulations. Did you consider getting the steel bracelet? I may pick one up for summer wear.

    You're absolutely right....

    Good'day to the World!

Bill, Clemens, Indblr & Norbert: Thank you all for your kind words and comments. Just as with previous IWC purchases, the AT2000 didn't fail to impress :-)

Bill: You are absolutely right - this watch has a serious, beautiful lume! It continues to glow for hours :-0 About the bracelet, the store didn’t have it in stock yet, but I did see it the chronograph model and I hope to purchase it once it becomes available.

Another bit of good news: the IWC brand will finally get its own boutique here in Kuwait. The stores inauguration is set for mid-March, and in fact I was shown some of the centerpieces that will be displayed in the boutique and they included stunningly beautiful limited edition watches covering the brands entire range :-P

A rather poor attempt to shoot the lume :-/

All reactions re. the White Aquatimer on this...

forum must be an immense source of inspiration for the IWC watch designers (and especially "style" designers) to find out what really makes the combination so attractive.

I know the answer for a long time, but sorry... not on this forum. I could let you know my reference and account number however... (joking).

Let's just face it, this is a success model, very well done by IWC !!

    Ciao, Rob.
