Yes, this is a very beautiful watch indeed, certainly in Laureus blue. Congratulations, and enjoy!

Maybe there is a lesson here for some, based on my experience. For a long, long time I couldn't really warm towards this watch, there was something funny with the total shape to me. Two details bothered me: the place of the date near the 3, and the rubber strap. Certainly on this Laureus, the date doesn't bother me anymore, a rubber strap probably never will be my friend. But right now the shape of the watch sings to me, it certainly is something special and even beautiful. Seeing and trying it on your own wrist helps. To me, IWC was ahead of its time with this watch, which is a good thing. Maybe others get a watch in a few years time that they don't get right now?

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Congratulations Kollnik - that is both a very cool watch and a beautiful color!

Classy in shape and color - and Paul, I think the rubber strap is very fitting for the sporty purpose of the YC :-)

Congrats Kulle, it is indeed a beauty! IMO rubber strap fits perfect to this nautic, sporty watch. Could not imagine with an aligator strap, can you?

Well, I could imagine this Laureus with a beautiful, semi shiny fitting blue croc strap. I am not near the water that often, let alone in it. And there is more water around and through, and I would say above, the Netherlands than around Portugal. But there it is again, I am more about beauty than about practical usability based on a not quite truthful myth.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Congrats! I think this is one of the most beautiful Laureus edition. I just cannot accustom to the rubber strap but I think this is a matter of taste …
