Indeed, Larry, it was special. Let's hope it can be done again in the future.

+1. Hopefully, we can resume some level of normalcy in 2022.
The one I missed. Trying to find some old posts bout that meeting.
Are these meetings taking place with some regularity? Is there a 'number of
IWC watches owned' cutoff criterium for attending?
I've only been to Schaffhausen once, around the turn of the millenium, staying
at the 'Fischerzunft' hotel. Believe it or not, I was not aware of Andre
Jaeger's restaurant at all, having found the hotel in a brochure on small
hotels all over Europe. When I made the hotel reservation, I was asked 'would
you also like to make a dinner reservation?', and I thought 'why not, that
will save us driving all over town'. Only later did I realize what a lucky
choice I had made. The dinner was just spectacular, and apparently
reservations were hard to come by. Unless you stayed at the hotel.
Unfortunately it seems the Fischerzunft is closed now permanently.
Hi Larry,
it is alsmost 20 years since.
Some days later we got this nice

Hope that there will be an other collectors meeting in the near future.

P.S. obviously we started our Forum membership the same day
Yes, a great meeting and after so many years some of the hard core addicts are
still around and friends for ever.

It was a momentous day... and a terrific experience to share with you Mark.
I'm looking forward to the day when the four of us (and more collectors!) can
get together and do this again.
