It is not just now that IWC has watches for ladies in the collection.
At the end of the 19th century, IWC produced cal 63/64, the smaller versions of cal52/53 to fit into smaller cases, serving as ladies pocket watches.
Some examples had nice monograms, others are true pieces of art with paintings in enamel on the case.
Here are a few examples from the era that are part of my collection.
The one with the painting on the case is confirmed that it left the factory like that. The enamel decoration is mentioned in the books.
Two same pocketwatches were ordered by a dealer in 1895. The case is yellow gold with white gold flowers on it.
Cases are around 34mm.
Are there here other members that can show ladies pocketwatches ?
