As a collector, it happened to me that I had a watch in my collection that at a certain point didn't get enough wrist time and I sold it.
Regretting the minute I saw it leaving my home.
So after some time, this regret started to change in desire, desire to buy this watch for a second time.
This is exactly what happened with the GST perpetual calendar, steel with the salmon dial.
I had it in my collection some years ago, but in a weak moment, I thought that two perpetual calenders was too much, so I sold it.
The GST perpetual is a wonderful watch, a sporty perpetual that comes in steel or in titanium, has a chronograph as an extra, very well executed and looking still modern and up to date.
    So this one arrived yesterday.
Are there other collectors like me, buying back the same watch ?

Great to have the "lost" watch back, congratulations! As I don't sell watches (and people didn't steal them from me until now...) I don't know about the feeling first hand.

I like the salmon colour of the dial, it takes a bit of courage to make it and to buy it, still, it is a classy colour that should be used a bit more often. If they made a special edition of the Portuguese 8 days handwound with such a dial, I might jump in.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Congratulations Tonny on re-acquiring such an amazing watch! It rally is such a cool piece, and you are right, still very modern and up to date. I still have my eyes out for one in steel with the white dial - this watch looks fantastic also on a black rubber strap.

And Paul, you are spot on in regards to an eight day handwound Portuguiser with the salmon dial!

Never happened to me to buy back the same watch although I was thinking of it sometimes.
But in this case I can understand it completely. It's an outstanding watch and probably much underrated.
Congratulations, great choice the 2nd time!

Well Tonny, I see your point and congratulate you on your re-purchase. The GST line, all of them, are great watches, but the GST perpetual is one of the best perpetual buys out there among all brands.
The old saying goes, 'third time's a charm', but we can change that here to
    'Second time's the charm!'

Hi Tonny, congrats on getting one of those beauties back on your wrist.

I've bought and sold the Inge 3227 twice and have regretted ever since. On the look out for the next one.
