Last week, I got the Portugieser Laureus monopusher as a kind of
Christmasgift to myself. It was not planned to buy this one, but when I saw it
    at my AD,
I was sold, what a fantastic watch this is.

I have a quite large wrist, so the 46mm case is not to big. It is so well
constructed even people with smaller wrists could wear it comfortably.

The dial is as wih all the blue dials IWC makes, the best in the industry in
my opinion ( remember the first Cousteau Aquatimer ).

On the webesite you can see the following :

Limited to 500 pieces, the Portugieser Hand-Wound Monopusher Edition "Laureus
Sport for Good" is the 14th Laureus special edition from IWC and also the
first Portugieser with a monopusher chronograph. The dial, in typical Laureus
blue, features the characteristic Portugieser minute scale, applied Arabic
numerals, and slim feuille hands. The IWC-manufactured 59360 calibre is wound
by hand and offers a high eight-day power reserve. The functional monopusher
chronograph can be started, stopped and reset via a single push button in the
crown. Stop times are displayed on a counter at "12 o'clock". The small second
is located at "6 o'clock", while the power remaining can be read using the
display at "9 o'clock". Engraved on the back of the watch is the winning entry
from the drawing competition that IWC organises each year within the worldwide
Laureus projects. It was created by 15-year-old Yi Xin, who takes part in the
    "Special Olympics China".

For me it is a watch to get, a future collectable, only 500 made, the largest
Portugieser case, a rare complication, first time on a Portugieser ( only
before found in a Porrtofino in red gold an in white gold with an ardoise dial
), it supports the great Laureus case ( many of us here also do this privatly
too ) and it looks georgeous, a very nice, clean design. Love it.

    Here are some pictures. Enjoy.

Tonny, this looks fabulous on you. I love a monopusher, but this one is just
too big for me. I'm glad it's so perfect for you.
