This slide show will chronicle my trip to SIHH -- the Road to SIHH. Like an old Bob Hope and Bing Crosby "Road" movie, I named the title of my post, remember those???!!!!!!! LOL

I was already traveling in the Orient and ended up in Hong Kong. My journey from HK starting with my check-in at Royal Jordanian Airline.

The flight had a stop-over in Bangkok on its way to Amman, and then the connection to GVA.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the flight. I must add that the armed security guys were very evident throughout the flight.

Here is the link to the slide show (sorry for this format, but hopefully IWC will offer a fix to multiple photo posting with the relaunch of the web site!!!!!).

There are definitely some new models that I hope will find their way into my collection ,-)))))

Let me take this time to thank IWC, MF, and everyone involved with this event that made it such a resounding success.

It was great to meet so many new friends.

Enjoy and thanks for looking, cheers!!!!!

    Agree with Michael

Nad, this is by far your best work and the best on the site.
I always look forward to your shows as we all feel like we were with you. IWC should consider engaging you to do short show that they could distribute to their ADs.
As a side issue which models are you planning to add to your collection beside the blue PPC??

Hi Kevin, thanks!!! There are just way too many >>

.....new models to add this year! I'll have to rationalize my collection very carefully before a final decision.

On the radar are the limited edition Portuguese hand wind in BOTH dial variations, as well as the St-Ex BP and Galapagos from last year's releases.

    Wish me luck, LOL!!!!!!!!

I'm wearing the Galapagos as I type. Great watch, try to wear it almost every week. But good luck with your choices and keep up posted.

    Very nice, both of them

In a way you took the place of Nicky with this kind of presentation, I like it a lot. The slow movement gives the watches much more life than a still picture, although those are very nice and useful too. Again and again I see IWC did something very well this year. And I'm in luck that some of the watches I really start to like are affordable too. But nothing beats seeing the goods.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch, that gains 100 points when you put it on your wrist and use it
