the Schaffhausen Cal 89 Dial questions

good day to all .
I'm new member and i have the question and hope you guy can give me some answer.
i brought this IWC vintage with the Cal 89 but was concern about the dial that is lack of the Swiss sign at 6'h .
is this dial been redone ? the pictures i post on mt facebook as i don't know how to post pictures here .hope it load ok.

The cal. 89 was built in a total of about 240.000 times over a long period.
So you can imagine that there are numerous variations in the dials.

I think that it is likely to be a redial, as it appears to be very bright and clean for its age.

Having said that, the photos are over-exposed, so it is difficult to make any confident judgments.

yes it looked a bit too clean for the age of the watch hence my concern . if it is a re finished dial should you go for it ?

Of course that is a personal decision, but I never buy re-dialed watches. Not only do I prefer the look of original dials (patinated or not), but they will hold their values far better than re-dials.

If you like the "new" look in vintage watches, then you have the option of waiting for, and paying for one that is in superb condition.

I ve started to collect vintage watches since couple of years and finaly able to buy an IWC from 1960 , wonderful piece , automatic but 
the dial has some tiers , scratches / etc . I like patined watches , this is why I am buying them but was wondering if I will ever want to 
change the dial , would that be possible .Whom should I address for a new one ? Where can I buy that , pls ?
