Hello All! I'm a daily reader of the forum but haven't contributed for a few
years now. The last time was in 2014 when I was considering purchasing a Big
Pilot and then did so soon after. (Link here: forum.iwc.com/t/the- end-of-a-one-watch-man/8742/). Sadly I no longer own that Big Pilot however
the IWC virus has hit me once again…
After a trip to the London Boutique during Christmas to change the strap on my
Yacht Club, I was mesmerised by a Big Pilot on display. I made a second trip a
few days later to have another peek but then postponed the purchase, until
now.
Forward to March and an excited email query sent to George at the boutique, I
was happy to learn that the watch was still available and the purchase was
completed soon after.
Excuse the poor quality shot…it's good to be back with the Big Pilot.
Especially one that is connected to my hometown.
