My dear friends, there are really no excuses for what I have done (or to be more precise, for what I haven’t done) in the past months. My last posting in this forum dates back to end of May, however, serious posting activity dates even back to mid of April. Incredible that since mid of April I have lived in sin and not shared my thoughts, impressions and feelings with my fellow IWC collectors in this forum.
Sure, in these past months I have been very busy in running (for a charity) a full marathon, cycling (for a charity) 970km from Oslo to Düsseldorf, working hard, taking care of my family and spending some relaxed vacation time in south of Sardinia with them. However, all of these are no good reasons for not finding a couple of minutes of time to be active in this forum.
As penitence I will travel in these remaining months of the year at least two times to Schaffhausen, visit at least five times my local AD, and significantly increase my posting activity in this forum☺
However, to show you that in the last months I was missing the posting activity, but certainly not my passion for IWC, I want to share some pictures with you I have shot in these past months (all iPhone pics, so please excuse the quality).
Here I was at a driving event
and guess what I am wearing on my wrist:

and at the IWC boutique in Zürich
Not mine, but still an IWC☺

My KKDV at the Rhinefalls
Obviously my Regulateur visited the Rhinefalls as well
Here you see my KKDV in front of St. Peter’s Church. The church clock holds Europe’s biggest dial with a diameter of 8.7 meters. Isn't it a great couple with the KKDV?
Now a shot of me and the team during our charity cycling event from Oslo to Düsseldorf. If you zoom a bit you will clearly notice the AT on my wrist, which went the whole 970km with me:
Following, some pictures of my vacation in Sardinia, where my Vintage AT was an excellent companion:

Back in Düsseldorf, the first thing I did was visiting my local AD. Since months I have a nice timepiece ordered, which unfortunately still has not arrived (no, it is not on these pics), and I am waiting anxiously for it. However, I used the occasion to put some other nice watches on my wrist:
My AD tried to apologize for the long waiting time by giving me these nice gifts:
I am happy to be back in the IWC community.
