on the top middle to right up corner of this page probably showing people on the move inside a building or a train station or something else that I am completely missing.
Anybody knowing what this photo is all about?
    Why it has been chosen?
    Was it an accidental photo?

I really like it and your opinions would be very interesting.

    Best regards
    Argiris

    I found it mysterious too

At first I didn't really notice, but then I studied it too, and it seemed quite off topic, certainly when you compare it to other semi blurry pictures on this site, that are very watch related. So then I thought you could use about any blurry picture, just to give the page that extra presence. I kind of admire the picture used, because I would never have chosen it, but it is quite intriguing. It is quite possible that there nothing more to it, but it makes you fantasize. In this respect it has some artistic quality.

If I recall, it was discussed early on...

and the answer, like almost everything in life, should be discoverable in the archives.

It is a picture of people rushing back and forth, and intended as a representation of an Intenet forum.

It also has been one of my design goals to replace it when we come up with new forum software (which by the way has been deferred until 2009).

    Regards,
    Michael

    Thank you Michael

I tried on the archives but didn't make it.
    Thanks for your help.

P.S. I really like this photo.

    Best regards
