    Dear forum members,

i have a question to owners of the Titan Chronograph Ref. 3702 with a bracelet
of type 3. On my watch the folding clasp is fixed to the bracelet with a screw
on one side and with a pin on the other side. See pictures below:

The question is, is that setup the same on your watch? Or are there screws on
both sides? The pin on my watch is pretty worn out as can be seen on the
    picture.

As i have the watch in my hands just now, i once again admit that i didn't
like it that much in the beginning. But i like it a lot now and it is still
getting stronger the more i wear it.

    thanks for your feedback

    Hi Hebe,

thanks a lot for your fast reply. Now the search is open to find that screw.
Do you know what type fo screw is used?

    Is it an M1.2?

    Thanks

Surely such a screw should be available from IWC as a spare part, right? I
would buy something like that directly from IWC as an original spare part.

    Cheers,

    Sascha

Well, I 've never loosened these screws and I don't know the diameter of the
    thread.

I'll try to loosen the screws if they are not secured with Loctite.

    No Loctite and M1.2.

    Hi Hebe,

thanks a looooot for your support.

I once studied your brilliant article on restoring a Titan Chrono bracelet of
type 1. And i hoped that you could be the one to support here.

It is great to have such enthusiastic and technically and of course
photographically skilled people on the forum

    thanks again

    Hi Sascha,

thanks for the reply. Yes sure it would be IWC that has this special screw.
But with the decision to not supply parts to noncertified service partners, it
is close to impossible to get the part, without ordering a complete service of
the watch. Don't get me wrong, i am not complaining about our watch
manufacturer of preferred choice. But for collectors of vintage watches that
have quite a number of watches in their stock, the business case of having
each and every watch serviced in the factory is not summing up. Still i love
the vintage IWC watches and i also love the hunt for the next model and also
to find the desired spare parts. And most important of all, i absolutely value
the ability of IWC to have vintage watches serviced no matter how old they
    are.
