Tomorrow, at noon Schaffhausen time, the IWC website will also be available in five additional languages, which are

    French
    Italian
    Spanish
    Chinese
    Japanese

IWC invites us all to surf through them even just for curiosity. With a click on the English frontpage, you can choose another language. The forum will not be available in languages other the German and English.

    Regards,
    Michael

Thanks to IWC for their hard work. The Chinese and Japanese characters would not copy. It will pay off.

It would be interesting to see ...

... the respective usage statistics in six months time and if it correlates with sales.

Making the knowledge available on the IWC site in several languages is indeed positive news.

    Cheers from the cellar

    Excellent !!!!

Le site est maintenant en français : c'est une excellente nouvelle. J'espère qu'un forum en français suivra.

    Did you notice...

The way the larger image of a watch is shown differs in the new language versions from the English and German ones.

I prefer the 'old' way with a separate window, it allows me to have images of two (different) watches side by side (even though the size differs).

It is a good thing though that the site is available in more languages, so thumbs up to IWC.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    Did you notice...

Well yes, Clemens. But did you also notice that there is no possibility for a PM (private mail) any more! That's much more dramatic!

    I agree, Hans

This should be restored as quickly as possible. As I can't see an obvious reason for its disappearance this must be an error that was overlooked while testing. Michael, do you know of any action in this respect? How could otherwise someone new here mail his home adrress to you after winning a price in one of your contests?

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing Saint Exupéry Chrono (here you are, now that you all know this, this post isn't off topic any more)

I have no idea and will check...

I hope it was just a glitch and not some dumb requirement by Richemont's Legal Department.

    Grazie mille!

What a nice surprise finding the web site in my own language!
