As far as we know 2 CFDVs gave been delivered to date. Mine should be on her way. :-))
I leave here my suggestion that we "declare" their arrival so we can know how many actually were delivered, regardless the "One out of 100" engraving.
    Just a thought.

You won't be able to tell...

A lot of IWC'ers read this forum but for one reason or another don't post. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a number of "lurkers" have ordered the CFDV.

It's interesting --indeed reassuring-- that this forum extends significantly beyond those who regularly post.

    Regards,
    Michael

The times a post is read

End December I asked at another IWC forum if people were interested in the CFDV, giving its specifications. I did not get many reactions, but the post was read more than 360 times. I think this is interesting information: some posts with pictures are read more than 1.000 times. Let's face it: if you like the watch, it is quite a good proposition, forum watch or no forum watch. I would be interested to know how many have been ordered: the last news, rumours that I kind of remember gave something like 15, but maybe there are far more.

    Kind regards,
    Paul, wearing steel VC Portuguese

    You could ask...

those who acquired a Collector's Forum Da Vinci to write to you giving their geographical location and the name they use on the Forum. They could also indicate whether or not the name is for publication.

A list of the locations and the names (if disclosed) could then be published.

    Just an idea.

    Cheers from the cellar

Not sure how you can tell that here either...

I know of no way to get that statistical information directly from the forum's own software. The number at the end in parentheses only shows the number of follow-up posts.

Attention all Forum Lurkers who acquired the CFDV>

Please either surface or email me with your forum name and your geographical location. The email will not be disclosed.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine how many CFDVs were actually produced and their locations, as it was done for the CFI.

Why Don't You Just Ask IWC?

Didn't they produce and post the geographic map for the CFI?

    What fun is that?...

Why make it simple if an elaborate solution may work almost just as well? :-))

    Now, seriously...

We would all appreciate that IWC publish the actual number of CF da Vinci sold, and their greographic location, by country.

In a totally unexpected turn of events,...

mine was delivered on Saturday thanks to Hoa Huynh's (of the BH Boutique) initiative. I am totally excited and pleased! I am in the midst of trying to take some decent pics today so I can post them.

    Best regards,
    Jim
