I am still on the hunt for the perfect Big Pilot. I have been looking at a
Transitional recently and cant quite wrap my head around it being worth the
premium folks are putting on it over the original 5002. Maybe I am just being
cheap and need a little persuasion to make the move? Or, maybe the prices are
overly inflated and I should just keep looking for the perfect 5002.

I would love to hear the thoughts of those more knowledgeable on the model and
anyone else interesting in giving their 2 cents.

The premium is based on percieved rarity and the number of collectors that
apprciate that rarity has got to be small. There is nothing else that really
adds to the value of the watch and that movement also has since been upgraded.
Maybe asking for a 1-2k premium would be expected.
