One can only agree. The story gave me that thrill only by reading it. Big congratulations, Giovanni! I am quite sure you have enjoyed that day very much and I think you are still smiling :o)

Dear Giovanni,
Don't say Sorry, thanks for sharing this experience.
May such a day come in every forum members life, mine including.. :)
Feels good once you get your dream watch going, doesn't it?
All the best & wear the watches in Good Health.
God Bless.

Now that is a great day! Autobahn and a Porsche along with the acquisition of two new beauties makes for a great day. Enjoy and congrats.
Wow, what a day! And the dual duo, two Port Perps and two great IWC friends...
congratulations to you for such a wonderful day!

Congratulations Giovanni on landing two special watches in one day! I hope Mark didn't feel too sick on the way back to Düsseldorf...
When I went to pick up my Pisa Perpetual, I had a friend do the driving home, that way I could drool over the watch instead of pay attention to the traffic!
Enjoy your new watches and wear them in the best of health. I hope to see them soon in real life!
Kind regards,
Clemens
Wow Giovanni! I think you must win the "Best IWC Day" award. That's just incredible. Two absolutely beautiful watches in such a short time. I hope you took the day off today so that you can just sit and admire them. Congratulations.
On another note, it sounds as if you are one of the reasons that I stay in the right lane on the autobahn. :)
Giovanni,
Good Lord...2 IWC's in such a short time span ? Must have been like Chinese food. One IWC, an hour later you were hungry for another !
Thanks for the fast ride. Can we take the Ferrari next time ? Please, Please !!

Forgive the SoCal expression.... bitchin'
What a great 'IWC Road Trip' story. Congratulations.
Congrats - Congrats Giovanni!
What a story, what a trip, what a friend, what a car - but really, what watches!
I loved your enthusiastic story and the excellent photographs - and very good to see you gave my friend Mark a real driving experience :-)
As a Portuguese lover this post was simply stunning! I have had the pleasure of trying on Mark's blue beauty and if it wasn't for the fact that I already have the silver face/rose gold version this would be on the top of my list too!
PS! I know what it feels to receive 2 IWCs in one day, in two different cities. I picked up my Big Ingenieur Chronograph in Madrid, and then the Deep Two in Dusseldorf a few hours and one plane ride later - a fantastic feeling isn't it - going to bed with two new boxes sitting there "watching" you :-)
Congatulations Giovanni. A great post and two blue PPCs together in one Porsche is a rare event.
The virus is bad when it's a double fix in one day. The fact that two people confess to the near overdose is truly amazing. Shame Concorde is grounded as we could have had purchases from the boutiques in Paris and NY from some intrepid traveller like Nad.
Have we really got to the bottom of these perpetuals as to why the change in model numbers. Can not believe its down to colour of hands nor shade of blue dial or plus or minus one jewel?!
Ok. Read this thread again.... must confess. Loving the 5021-5032 road trip. Congratulations once again. These 2 photos really take the cake:
Congratulations Giovanni! Great story and great watches indeed!
what an exciting day! thanks for sharing.
wow....just....wow!!
That one got me, Skule :o)
I think that everything has been said but wow, what a day.
Congratulations Giovanni on a great day and even better watches.
Kind regards,
Marinus
Giovanni, you should change the label "Connoisseur" to Master . What a great day and in great company. Thank you for letting me see two beauties like this side by side without being drunk myself. Sure you are drunk of joy.
