Hello everyone! :)
Yesterday I was in Amsterdam again. And what do you do when you are in Amsterdam? That's right...you visit the boutique! :) So I went in and met the boutique manager Mr. Bodéwes again who is a true gentleman and is always willing to have a chat to fuel your passion for fine watches.
It was a busy day at the boutique as there were a lot of Chinese customers. Mr Bodéwes offered me a drink and told me that if I wanted, I could go upstairs and take pictures of some very special watches...Now when someone says to me that there are very special watches, they always got my curiosity, but when Mr. Bodéwes says there are very special watches....then he has my full attention :)
So I went upstairs with my cup of coffee and there I immediately found out that what he told me was absolutely true. Ladies and gentleman, right in front of me were FOUR TOURBILLON watches (of which two were the same watch, mentioning old reference with white dial and new one with grey dial)I felt like winning the lottery.
He told me that I could take all the time that I wanted to take some pictures and that if I need assistance to make a paticular kind of picture, I just had to let him know so those pictures could be made as well.
The very watches that I could photograph were;
- The Portugieser Tourbillon Mystere Retrograde (both redgold with white dial and grey dial)(IW504602)
- The Portugieser Tourbillon Hand-Wound in redgold (IW546302)
- The Ingenieur Constant-force Tourbillon in ceremic and redgold (IW590002)
I think everyone on the forum is known with these fantastic pieces, so I decided to let the pictures speak for themselves. Again thank you IWC Amsterdam! It was again a true pleasure
