I consider it not out of character. I can imagine a pilot of a Jumbo Jet having a gold watch. And I can imagine a lot of people just liking this particular watch. Limited, I guess?

The contrasting color of the power reserve dial is pretty unusual for the BP line.

Impressive but too fancy to me

I like the pure look of the steel one with black dial. The fancy precious metals don't appeal to me and make a wrong statement. But that's just me.
