And now for something completely different..............

Cal. 89 circa 1954 (this watch and I were born in the same year!):

Most Cal. 89's were made with an embossed dial. This one is somewhat special in that it has applied markers:

All the photos started looking like Black and White photos, so I just wanted to add a little color, LOL!!!

Another cool feature is the beautiful sunburst pattern on the dial!!!!!!!!!!!

Being used to bigger and heavier watches, it sometimes felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my wrist!

That is a great looking watch, even if it is a bit smaller and lighter than we are now used to.

fantastic stuff Nad - I want that too ! the long lugs on this Cal 89 makes up for the smaller dial for my wrist. absolutely love the gleaming silver in this shot:

Very nice sunburst dial. Classic and understated.

Another great piece Nad. Sometimes it's nice to wear something smaller. In my case, it's the Spitfire UTC at 39 mm.
