This week we have a look at watch movements inside large cases. The different opinions posted in reply are also a must read.
How do collectors feel today as cases seem to get larger and the movements remain the same?
Cheers from the cellar

Interesting topic cellar...
Personally, I prefer that a movement nicely fills the watch case, without too much room to spare. I don't like it when for example a date window or chrono counters are too far from the edge of the dial.
Kind regards,
Clemens
This is a timely tour,...
given some of the recent discussions. I agree with Clemens...I prefer a movement that is not "dwarfed" by the case size.
Best regards,
Jim
Thank you Cellar for this topic really in phase
with current discussions. And it's exactly what I dislike in the new Yacht Club, or Big Ing chrono or ME : a 30mm movement in a 45-46mm case. For me it is just too much, even if design is very appealing.

Jean
No change here. (nt)
Very interesting discussion>
Also interesting to read all the contributions. My position is close, not to say the same, to the last comment of the post.
Thank you cellar for another interesting tour on a very actual point.
