    Did anyone spot the diamond-encrusted Grande Complication in Tony's report? I know it's an IWC but...tasteless IMO.

    Protective coating on Da Vinci watch cases

    Thanks cellar!

    Here are two pictures I was allowed to take during my factory visit. The watch cases are covered by a special coating that protects the case during the polishing job.

    As our guide explained, the coating has to have properties that seem mutual exclusive: stick well to the case to be protective and be easily removed after the polishing is done.
