I must admit I didn't plan it this way, but today the postman came twice to deliver two new IWC watches on the same day. I have been thinking to add a Portuguese 5001 again to my collection because I missed a more dressier watch. So I decided to go for the 5001-09: classic, understated and IWC all the way.
Yesterday I found another watch that was on my wishlist too at a price I couldn't resist. Located in Budapest of all places. But the seller was friendly and kind and arranged to ship the watch overnight at no extra costs. So today the beautifull and much underestimated Ingenieur 3234 with ceramic bezel could be added to my collection. And what a great watch this is in person. Pictures just don't do it justice. It has a perfect size and wears very comfortable. I know many don't like the fact that it has a display back, but I'm not a real purist so I don't mind. This watch represent great enginering and craftsmanship as one might expect form IWC.
Needless to say I'm happy...
