For those of u who have your hands on the new catalog, you will know that pics of the watches themselves are different from the rest of the page the pics reside - the watch pics themselves are in high gloss. great stuff !

I headed into Waikiki earlier this week to see if the new catalog was available - it wasn't - but at least I got to take a look at the ceramic Big Pilot Perpetual which I hadn't seen since SIHH in January.

That HW 8 day dial variant was obvious, so why so long to arrive? I would never have chosen the ardoise variant as its not suited IMO.

Beautiful. I'm becoming like one of Pavlov's dogs -- mere mention of a 5001 and I begin to drool. The hotel we stayed at in St. Moritz earlier this week had some watches on display for a local AD: a 500109 and a Yacht Club. I told my wife that the presence of the 5001 was a sign that I was meant to buy it. Apparently she's not superstitious...
