I already had a Gadebusch, as from today a classic brother joins him.

For the moment a bad IPad pic

    Hi Bas,

I started my IWC ride with a Mark XV almost 11 years ago. Though I sold it I stil consider it an outstanding design classic. Congratulations on 2 of them!

    Hi Bas,
I notice both watches have a deployment clasp on them which was not the standard for those watches? - from memory the clasp only works with 18mm (thin end) straps - do the MX XV's strap fit or have you mixed and matched / got after market straps?

    Cheers,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Afaik the watches were delivered with a pin buckle. From 2001/2 the buckle was 16 mm (source: the workbook www.weeber.biz/IWC/Workbook/2001_02/3253.htm).

I have black IWC-straps for both, but these are to long for me and I don't like the black strap. So both are on aftermarket straps now.

:) two is enough, but a pyramidbracelet would be nice.

    Hi Ben,

my first IWC was a Mark XV back in 2001. It was equipped by IWC with a black 18 mm buffalo strap with the deployant clasp as seen on the picture. Undortunately IWC changed that soon afterwards to the 16 mm strap with pin buckle.
