Greg - great lottery question btw. On your question on mine and Nad's digs ...laundry ??? why in the world is there such a need ? we are decked our in full IWC wear 24/7 ! and if that should ever run out, the nice people round the corner at the equally large Mont Blanc Boutique are more than ready to toss over some spares :) note to self: check if there are any men in MB Boutique, cos I only ever saw women. And check if they are 24/7.
Andrew - No, not unless that special Italy edition is also in one of the pics in this discussion. But will keep an eye out over this weekend.
Shing - check your email.
A few months ago I showed this link to pictures in this post on the German sister forum. In the mean time some more pictures were added. Here at this English forum the reaction was not overwhelmingly positive then, I still think it looks like a nice and sunny holiday watch.
Kind regards,
Paul
Very interesting watch - dial & strap combination, and an even more interesting back ! Thanks Andrew & Paul for sharing.

for completeness, here it / they are. top pic I know at least one forumer loves. bottom pic: I absolutely think is one classy watch. apologies for the plastic.
Hi Shing,
Thank you so much for posting this one here too. I keep returning to your email often, looking at the pictures of this, for me at least, quite exceptional watch. Is it too rich, a bit over the top with that o so noticeable bezel? The whole watch, bezel, numbers, hands, forms a unity in design and is a bit extravagant in rose gold, more than the steel one, which adds to its character, and I love it to pieces. I remember seeing it once life, the dial is mildly cream coloured, the lume of the numbers is white, a very nice colour setting, certainly because the numbers are set a bit higher and being gold rimmed. It reminds me a bit of the Huber Urania, where I like this VC Pilot's watch more. I want to try it on, and who knows what happens next...
Kind regards,
Paul
That's indeed quite an accomplishment. I tried to convince my wife to let me get her an IWC Portofino as her birthday present a few months back... she didn't take the "bait". She chuckled and asked whether it was a poor attempt for me to get yet another IWC. blush
Anyway, I am proud to have a frugal wife. She didn't want me to spend my hard-earned money on something that she doesn't need. So, we ended up agreeing to get her a US$80 quartz watch by Seiko that has a watermelon theme to it... something that resembles the "Fruitz" line of the Philip Stein watches.
