As many of you know, I have been assembling a collection of very rare IWC catalogs for limited Internet publication as a benefit for our forum members

    Today I added two catalogs:

--a 1906 price list (in French), which is quite abbreviated

--an undated Fournitures No. 6 (in German). As you may know, Fournitures means "supplies" and each constituted a movements parts quide for watchmakers. All of the others (1-5 and 7) were previously posted, so this is for completeness. It is a poor photocopy but this edition is quite rare.

I haven't dated Fournitures No. 6 and would love your assistance. We know it is after No. 5 (which is 1935) and before No. 7 (which is 1952). So I have called it "ca. 1940s" but if anyone can help with a better dating based on the movements shown I would be appreciative.

That said, I hope some of you history fans will find these useful. As before, please do not reproduce these items other than for your own personal use, including no Internet links to the catalog pages.

Thanks --to get to the Vintage Catalog Project, please click on the link below.

Becoming repetitive, still highly appreciated !...

... and I really have to take some days off from work, to start downloading these catalogues. They are so wonderfulI and worthwhile that I don't even trust the time they will be available on the forum.

    Thanks very much MF.

    Ciao, Rob.
