    Dear collectors,

So I spontaneous bought this hopefully not fake watch at a vintage market yesterday.
Since I am not a experienced collector I would love to get all the info i could get about this beautiful vintage piece.
I would be really grateful for your expertise and any kind of thoughts or comments is highly appreciated.

    Axel

Not a fake, but possibly a re-dial. Also, the crown may not be original, and the buckle is a modern replacement.

It will be powered by either a caliber 852 or 853 movement. More information can be discerned with photos of the inside of the casebook, and movement.

    Regards,

    Tony C.

    Thank you Tony!

What makes you think it’s an re-dial? Any detail or just because it is in to good condition for a mid 60’s?

I googled some similar IWC watches and it seems like the crown isn’t original, although it has the fish, it seems to be thicker than the original.

I will try to get inside photos asap :)

    Regards, Axel
