Hi all,
I have this IWC with Cartier printed on the dial, and I've never seen something like it before. I'm looking for some help identifying it, and possible getting a ball park value. Is this something Cartier did on a regular basis?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

It appears to be a Cal. 89 in steel.
That given without a close-up of the dial and the imprint "Cartier" I deem this dial a fake.

Thank you for the reply! Fake dial due to Cartier not having this collaboration with IWC? Or just poor lettering (as much as can be determined with the poor quality photo?)

I have limited knowledge about this era but I do have a co-branded IWC (with Türler) from the 40's that looks somewhat similar.

Türler was a retailer and watches branded both with International Watch Co. and the retailer's name are seen here and there.
Cartier is no retailer like Türler, Beyer or others. We know watches produced by IWC, but branded Cartier. But those were no Cal. 89 and the branding was different.
With a real Cartier I would expect a high quality print of the signature, while a forger probably isn't able and willing to produce really high end prints on the dial.

That's interesting and supports it is definitely not the only one, although the others mentioned were automatics.
BTW, any plans to relaunch the Vintage Catalogue site? Really missing that feature...

I've finally got some better images of this IWC. According to my instructor (I'm a student in watchmaking school) the dial is not refinished. If anyone has any details or contacts about the nature of this collaboration please let me know!
