thanks for the reply, the only other shot I have is this one, no serial or movement shot. I did think it could be a cal 83 or 88. Do you think the dial is original? Should there be a SWISS or eqivalent at 6 O'clock mark? What do you think is current money from a bricks and morter dealer? Sorry for all the questions!

there is not much to go on from one photograph and the resolution is not good enough to give an impression of the dial.
From what I can see it looks good.
The watch might be:
Cal 83 which was made 1930 to 1947
or
Cal 88 - 1946 to 1964.
There is no way to be certain without seeing the movement and serial numbers.
Please share any information that the seller might have.
