New to the forum!
We're trying to identify whether the vintage IWC Schaffhausen pocket watch we have is fully original since we're being questioned about its case.
The dial simply states International Watch Co, Schaffhausen; there is also a sub dial.

The works note: Adjusted to 3 (Three) Positions, 15 (Fifteen) Jewels, International Watch Co, 754050.

The inside case notes: 14K, 49871.

One person said the case of an Elgin watch and therefore the pocket watch is not original and has been assembled.

Do all vintage IWC pocket watches the IWC markings on all parts, including the case, if original?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It's 22mm, a somewhat perfect size for 44mm case. It balances it nicelly

Thanks for the info. I have 7.5" wrists, so 44mm would definitely work.

The brown leather strap is awesome, the Nylons I don't like at all. The watch either on the original rubber and even more on the brown leather is completely awesome! Big congratulations! I love it.
